Product Overview
- Molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) hull — highly UV-resistant, will not become brittle, rot, or fade. Exceptional stiffness, rebound, and tensile strength. Will not crack or warp under normal operating conditions. Resistant to all chemicals.
- Monolithic (single-piece) molded construction — no laminated skins, no heat-welded or glued seams that can come apart like bodyboard-style competitors. No delamination risk from water invasion.
- 8 handgrips made from 5,000 lb-test nylon webbing, overmolded with proprietary flexible elastomers. Anchored with 7,000 lb-test brass mold-in inserts and stainless steel fasteners secured with Lock-tite to prevent backing out.
- Engineered tapered tail at 2.5″ allows sled to sink slightly at PWC idle — enables rescue swimmers to slide hypothermic or unconscious victims onto the deck from water level without having to lift them up. Tail planes efficiently once PWC accelerates forward.
- CPR can be performed efficiently on the sled while the PWC is making progress toward shore — the rescuer can straddle the victim in transit, maximizing survival outcomes without stopping rescue transport.
- Vibration dampening: Flexible linear low-density polyethylene, urethanes, and EVA copolymers used at all connecting points to the PWC. Cushioning deck pad for victim comfort and secure positioning.
- Non-invasive 3-point attachment: nylon webbing and stainless spring clips for center point; bungee cords and stainless spring clips for outboard points. U-bolt mounting hardware for PWC hull included. No factory-installed attachment points needed.
- Replaceable bumper nose protection prevents wear and impact damage. Easy to repair with standard plastic welder (polyethylene weld materials available from Polyvance).
- Available in Tie-Down Version (3-point universal) and other configuration options — contact us for details.
